    • Posts that promote violation of the law are not allowed.
Violation of the law includes, but is not limited to:
      • Encouraging or advocating an illegal activity, or portraying it as normal or acceptable(e.g., casually mentioning that you have participated in dog fighting as though this were normal and acceptable). Exceptions will be made for threads that are devoted to serious discussion of illegal activities in an abstract sense (e.g., about whether dog fighting law should be relaxed or legalized), on a case-by-case basis.
      • Asking for someone else to commit an illegal activity (e.g., asking about dog fighting events or asking for illegal dog fighting videos and pictures).
      • Assisting someone else in an illegal activity.(e.g., Linking them to videos and pictures of dog fights).
      • Possessing, distributing, or using drugs in a way that would be illegal in most jurisdictions (e.g., owning marijuana).

    • Advertisements
Advertisement is allowed under strict rules, guidelines and exceptions. They are as follows:
      • Advertising and selling dogs is strictly prohibited. You are allowed to advertise your kennel in your signature or username if first approved by the mypitbullpro staff. Exceptions will be made for shelter adoptions and foster.
      • Unsolicited advertisement for any website, product, service, or facility not first approved by mypitbullpro staff is not allowed. If approved, you can advertise websites, products, etc. in your signature, avatar, or other profile fields, as long as you post productively and don't just try to get exposure for your advertisements. Recommendation of websites, products, or other resources are also allowed if relevant to legitimate discussions.

    • Continual harassing behavior directed towards a certain individual or group with the intent of creating an intimidating, offensive, or hostile environment on the boards, with or without use of explicit or implicit threats is prohibited. Posting private information without permission is also prohibited.
    • Falsely claiming to be another specific message board member or other known individual is not allowed. Neither is falsely claiming to be a moderator, administrator, or any authority figure.
    • Users whose right to post on the forums has been suspended or revoked must not create additional accounts to evade the ban. In addition to the normal penalties for warnings, the user's ban may be extended, and the additional account they made will be banned indefinitely.

      • Insinuations ("Are you stupid or something?") or insults towards family ("Your mom...")

Instead, members should criticize the post, not the poster. Ex: if you disagree with someones training methods, criticize their methods and not the person.

        • Visible outlines of female nipples or female genitals through clothing (e.g., "camel toes").
        • Anything that falls narrowly outside the previous provisions, at the discretion of the moderators.

This applies to photographs, drawings, or any other representation of humanoid figures. It may also apply to non-humanoid figures such as animals, at the discretion of the moderators. Nudity may be permitted for serious and non-titillating purposes, such as the exhibition of recognized art or historical models in modifications, at the discretion of the moderators.

    2. Site Info

As of May 16th 2009, this site was created as a gathering place for owners of the American Pit Bull Terrier breed to come together to promote positive breed ownership.. We would like to shine a positive light on preserving, working, and loving our breed of choice.

We are a community dedicated in preserving the true American Pit Bull Terrier. Members are encouraged to participate in working and conformation events, to test their dogs for form, function and temperament. We fully oppose any and all kinds of Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) and encourage responsible ownership.

We hope people new to the breed will ask questions to learn. We hope that while you are here you will take advantage of the overwhelming knowledge our members have about the breed, to better yourself not only as an owner of this wonderful breed, but hopefully to have you become active in many forms of positive activities, which some include weight pull, conformation, agility, dock diving, hog hunting, tracking, obedience, and much, much more.

We aspire to preserve the American Pit Bull Terrier in its true form. This site is dedicated to the preservation of the American Pit Bull Terrier in its original form. Please note we are opposed to any and all forms of animal cruelty, dog fighting, and do not promote or condone irresponsible owners, breeding of unproven dogs, or illegal activities of any kind.

We provide an atmosphere that is family friendly, and of course fun to learn in. We are here to come together as a group of enthusiasts who will stand for this breed, if you are here to learn, we are here to teach, not bash, we open our arms to anyone who is willing to learn and better this wonderful breed.

As many people know the American Pit Bull Terrier has received a reputation that attracts a negative attitude from those who are not educated on the breed or simply just listen to the media. We would love the opportunity to be able to educate the public on how to properly care for our breed, while keeping them happy, and in the best fit condition possible.

Activities such as weight pull, and conformation, are a couple of the top dog show competitions. Whether it is in fun shows or sanctioned ADBA, UKC, or AKC trials, we encourage active participation, to show the public the positive side of this wonderful, loving, and intelligent breed.

Any activity such as dog fighting, selling dogs/puppies, offering stud service, is prohibited on this site and will not be tolerated. We remain loyal to the true APBT as they are truly loyal to us.
