Well my computer is really starting to show its age I have tried my best over the years to keep it up to date, And have reached its max limit.

My system specs.
motherboard = msi socket A,
CPU = AMD athlon xp 2700+
sound card = sound blaster X-Fi extreme gamer
ram = 2 gigs
video card = nvidea g-force 7600gs AGP

was a kick ass system 5 years ago lol.

I have a new motherbaord on the way and one of my best friends gave me a CPU to put in it. So I'm buying some things to update the system. One done this is what I will have added.

motherboard = asrock dual sata
CPU = AMD 64 3700+
ram = 4 gig in DDR mode
sound card = same (cant beat the X-fi)
video card = g-force gts 250 PCI-E
hard drive = WD blue SATA (finally getting away from the old IDE controled hd's)

I allready have a kick ass power supply and case. And will be moving over 3 hard drives, my cd and dvd drives, sound card, and tv tuner card over to the new system.

But my main C drive will be sata not ide.

Im going to update this blog with my going ons, how I did this, and pics. I case any one is intrested or wants to know how to update a system, sing a new processor, install a video card, wire up a motherboard, ect.

Here is a list of the things I will be working with.
