The ukc has a unqiue system compared to the others. For one you are not pointed for placement you are pointed by % of weight pulled per body pound. Anyways, In the UKC in order to pull for points. You must first recieve three qualifing legs. Legs are pulls that you dog completes that are 10 times on rail or 8 times on cart its body weight 16ft in 60 sec. After your dog has completed 3 legs on three different days It will recieve a UWP title which mean it can then start earning points toward other titles but the legs have to be earned first. No you can not earn points toward a title the same day you complete your last leg. Here is what a UWP looks like. Its just so special lmfao

thanks laura!! Got any info on qualifying to earn points in the ADBA is it much the same way? UWP doesn't seem like much of a title.

You don't have to qualify to earn points in the ADBA but points are only awarded to first three placements and body pounds. Much harder system to get 100 points in not to mention the competition is alot steeper.
