apbtproud- Heeeeelllo! great to see you on here. I hear Ja-bar is killing those shows! Great stuff. Do you plan on having him pull? I have my 2yr old Bam Bam now competing and he is doing really good . I cant wait until Shogo is old enough to start up as well. I really want to see what he can do once that time comes. Im sure Ja-bar will exceed if given the opportunity. They have a great line of show and weight pull in them. Much luck and hopefully one day we will meet up.

killa cali and apbt momma- I live out in the Elk grove area so im pretty close to Sac as well.

California ADBA sanctioned club :) check it out. We should be having a 2nd of 3 fun shows before our first Sanctioned event, the fun showshould be in a month or so. I would love to see all the cali folks on here sign up for the club and get involved. :) We have a rail cart and a rail track :)
I have my boy Maverick currently training for WP and is showing ALOT of promise and i will start Grizz in a couple weeks here after he turns 1. I would love to see our club develope a strong WP membership so we can share our ideas and training thoughts. thanks for listening.

Dansgrizz- Thanks for the info. I am on my way to read up on the link you provided.

apbtproud- I hear you on the heat. On the really hot days I have him run on our treadmill and swim in the pool so he stilll gets his excercise in. I also switched him over to a raw prey diet and so far I have seen a great difference overall.

Raw + prey = live animals? Do you feed rabbits?

Dansgrizz- The animals are already in deeeeeeep sleep by the time they are devoured. Its generally not practical to feed actual wild prey to our pets so I instead rely on food that is raised for human consumption. I just try to provide as much of a variety as possible. Rabbits are on occasion due to the price per lb. but I do get that as well at a local Asian food market.

LOL I helped with my parents falcons and we raised all kinds of live prey for them so no explanations needed. I was just wondering what kind of meat they eat?
