As I'm sure many of you know, yesterday morning the world lost Lou Colby. He was 90 years old. Lou will be together again with his beloved Marie who passed not to long ago. An era truly has passed. I never talked to him at length or in person, his email replies were always kind and informative,
RIP Lou Colby and thank you for everything.

I'm sorry to hear this, what a wonderful long life Mr. Colby lived, and what a great legacy he left the breed.

Sad to loose a member of the Royal Family ... Some of you may or may not have known this, But Lou was also an avid gamefowl breeder / fancier. He only kept two families ( Irish Tracy Pyles and Boston Roundheads) and didn't keep many pens, but what he did have was pure and undiluted , just like his dogs.
