to those that live in the alabama area if you know anyone that is looking for a kitten I have a beautiful orange tabby female that wondered up in my yard the other day. Houdini almost had her for dinner. She is about 8 weeks old and really friendlly. I have nick named her Kamakazi. I hate to do this but if I dont find her a home in the next couple of days then she will have to go to the shelter. It sucks but its better than being a scooby snack.

The best thing i would do is a shelter. Cats gets adopted fairly quick from my experience.

yeah I just really dont want to have to do that the shelters around here are flooded and over full as it is I dont want to put anymore work on them unless I have too. If I can find her a home then I feel I have done my good deed and have homed one more little kitty that some one else didnt want (even though I have gotten were I hate cats they stink literally)

Post up some flyers in local pet stores or any stores or public places that allow ads.

I know it does suck to give em to a shelter since they are already over crowded, i think it still is the best choice, because its a kitten, and kittens get adopted FAST, if you had a adult cat, yeah i would be worried about the shelter. But i have never seen a kitten stay in a shelter for more than a month or two max. So if you cant find a home, don't be disheartened about giving the kitty to the shelter, she will definitely find a good home.
