Nismo is vomiting

Saturday night i went to a lil shindig for a couple hours so i put nismo in his crate. i came back home and he shredded a pillow up that i had always had in his crate.

he was eating, drinking, playing fine yesterday.
today, he hasnt been able to keep any food down, he hasnt drank much.
he throws up about 30min to an hour after he eats. the last time he threw up there was a whole bunch of cotton, like the amount to fill a small teddy bear.
about an hour ago, 11:00PM, i started giving him pediatlyte when i got home from school. 12mls every 30 min.
im going to see if he can hold this down. and im going to stay up for a long while to monitor him
i'll try feeding him again in the morning and i'll keep the liquids up til tomorrow afternoon. if he cant hold any food down then i want to take him to the vet.

i was thinking before i gave him the pedialyte, would enducing vomiting work if he has a block?

any input would be great.

He should be fine, its the cotton thats making him vomit, once he gets it out of his system he should start getting back to normal. Give him very little food and a lot of water. Czar just recently had real bad upset stomach too, and i have no idea what he ate, it sure was fun cleaning up all that mess.

i would take nismo to the vet for xrays. if he ate that much cotton and he vomits when he eats and is not drinking much he could have a blockage. i wouldnt wait on it because blockages can get real bad if left untreated. some can be relieved with medications while others will not release without surgery.
when Peanut was a baby he was a toy eater he went to the vet 2 times for blockages he had the same signs as you described for Nismo but luckily Peanut was resolved with medications.

I wouldn't suspect blockage just yet since he did poop. Keep an eye on him and see if he poops again or if he has any trouble peeing. He may just have upset his stomach by eating all that cotton, it absorbs a lot of liquid and can get heavy and sit in his stomach like a rock. Only feed him a small amount and see if he keeps it down or not, but a trip to the vet isn't unwarranted if you feel he is still sickly.

he's getting down liquids fine, he drank a whole bottle of water this morning and i've still been giving him pedialyte. he pooped this morning twice, and he is peeing fine.
here in about 30 min im going to try and give him a half cup of food.
if he cant keep it down then i will be making a trip to the vet.

oh yeah sry, i've been updating on GP alot and totally forgot i posted this here.
he's doing alright, today he's been keeping food down, which im really happy about that.
he's drinking good too. but im still keeping up on the pedialyte tho.
