Thanks Julie, what a great bit of history. Dan, that beer looks delicious and I bet it is. Maybe the bike was being stolen. I know there are times when I wish my dog had bitten a bike thief.

I think it speaks for the times too, im sure not too many people in germany in 1936 owned a car... the majority most likely had bikes as their transportation.
