Im sorry to hear that Dan, i lost my grandmother to cancer also back in 1987. It was tuff for our fam, but we got through it. She taught me discipline and respect for others, and thats why i loved her so much. She was very strict with me, but it worked out for the best.

I'm happy I'm alive cuz if I died my dad wouldl have lost me, his mom, and his dad all in one year. They were good people but you can only smoke so much til it catches up with you.

I lost my granddad to cancer. He used to be body builder in his younger days, and in one of his work outs he dropped a heavy weight on his leg. Did not seem like a big deal then, but 50 yrs later, he developed cancer in that area. Cancer is a B**ch, its scary it can happen to anyone.

I have not lost any family members due to cancer, However I have lost a good friend to cancer... She found out that she had cancer, went and got some treatment and they sent her home and a week later she passed. There wasnt anything they could really do to help her cause it was soooo bad by the time she found out..RIP Cheryl

I had a coworker that found out he had cancer with a week to live. He died 4 days later. Just sat around his house all day... I think I'd jump out a plane with no chute .... Go out with a bang.

Sorry for your loss Dan, I for one don't mind that you posted it here. If I passed I wouldn't mind being in a pet section, I would hate to be in the same category as a human being, bleh. Pets are sweet and innocent when they go but not ppl so yep, put me in the pet category also. :)

Aw, i'm sorry to hear about that. Cancer took my grandmother too. We wernt that close, but a death of a family member is always hard.
But I agree with you, if I found out that I was soon to die, i would HAVE to do something crazy that i've never done before.
