Well I don't have pictures just yet but I can try and get some tomorrow, we drive a 2004 Dodge Intrepid it is a dark charcoal grey 4 door. Then we have a 2004 Ford 350 Lariat/ 4 door/long bed, it is white! We just wanted a bigger truck because we want more kids, lol. After a year or 2 we are going to trade the car in for and SUV or something.

Me too ..well mine is 05 ...is his fallin apart too or is it just mine? lol ...I really dont like mine...

Not really falling apart, we got an extra warranty on it for mechanical failure just incase. The only problem we have is a cracked radiator so no A/C :(

I am driving it for now during the week because I only need a car to drive 5 blocks to the Park & Ride, so A/C isn't a big deal. He commutes 30 miles (one way) to work so he's driving my Matrix right now.

Well thats good compared to mine lol. I have replaced the starter(more than once), the battery (today actually), driver window is broke so cant roll it down( have tried to fix it about three times now Im over it), cant get hub caps to stay on the damn thing to save my life(replaced them twice so done with that), it leaks really bad when it rains real hard (which here in florida is rains real hard everytime it rains lol) so therefore my car always stinks.... I just hate my car....there not huge problems but they all add up and give me one hell of a headache...lol

The last time i saw a stock 94 hatch, was well in 94 lol. I would take good care of that car, full stock imports are highly desirable, especially since a lot of people like to work from scratch, and not someone else's left overs. My good friend had an Audi s4 and sold it and got an 08 STI sedan. That thing is crazy fast!!! I'll probly drive that civic til it dies. I had a outback wagon it was an awesome car I bought it for $3400 drove it 2 months totalled it and got $6800 in insurance money. Now that was a good deal ;). I'd rather have that Subaru still though :(

Leon

Used to be a huge Mitsubishi Evo nut hugger lol. But their new Evo sucks. And the Subaru wrx sti hatch is equally as fast, and has a huge utility advantage because you can fold down all the back seats. And when you have a big dog or dogs, it would be nice to have that space, and you don't have to put them on the seats either.

This is my first import (Maxda MX6). I originally purchased it for one of mu daughter but she said it was "to old", lol go figure. Kids these days huh. I figured I'd just play with it until I got tired of it but as it turns out... I really like it. I've only had it about 2 months now and my wife says I've put more money under the hood of it than her Expedition cost :D and she's probably right too. These pics were taken a few days after I first got it. Not much has changed on the outside since except tires  I found out the hard way that after I did the drive train upgrades the stock tires wouldn't hold up but about 6 or 7 passes, thats including burnouts :wah: Oh well. I've got slicks on it now but come this time next year it'll be sporting a brand new set of street legals at the ZMax Dragway in Concord, NC for Pinks All Out, :nahnahna: I want to keep it as stock looking on the outside as possible, except paint ;) .

I drive a 1996 cavalier two toned top silver bottom black. alot people mistake it for a cop car since the cops around here drive everything. Its got 237000 miles on it and still kicking it. Payed for. Gets 36 miles a gallon with all the nice expenisive air filter, plugs, and etc. on it. I can go to north tennesse from my house here in eva alabama and back on a tank of gas. Holds a whopping 14 gallons.

Holding on to this bad boy til I find the little truck I want. I miss our old truck It got took out by a jeep grand cherakee doing 100 miles an hour. IT IS Totalled to say the least.

razor i now some 4 cyliners with turbos that can keep up with some nice 8 cylinders, if it wasnt for turbo lag they would kill them.
alot of ppl think my 98 mitsu eclipse is an import but in actuality it was made in the usa by dsm (diamond star motors) dsm was a joint project between mitsu, dodge, and eagle. mitsu and dodge still work together, the turbos that are in the neon srt-4's is made by mitsu and were used to be used in there eclipses.

yes and the eclipse motors orignally came from the dodge daytona turbo before they quit making them. The daytona was the eclipse of the eighties but mopar did a sorry job with them so they stopped saleing and they quit making them. I have had 3 daytonas all pos and i had to work on them weekly but would haul total ass for a 4 cyclinder turbo. I had to carry my last one off a year ago cause my husbands cousin blew it up for me. It was a dodge daytona selby z and there wasnt many of them made. I almost just tossed a old eclipse motor in it but said screw it I have wasted enough money on it on this pos and i had it crushed. It was also one of those cars that had the talking electronics in it to let you know when something wasnt right yeah you can tell that was new tech. back then that sucker didnt shut up it would babble about shit that wasnt even wrong with the car and had a problem with changing languages that wire got cut. This motor was also put in several other cars and after years of modifing actually turned into a great 4 cyclinder turbo motor for cars like the eclipse. At least this is what the dude that worked on my pos has told me. They are also death traps no offense kevin but they tend to roll pretty easy if something happens to go wrong with the front end. I totaled one of the daytonas this way and my step father totalled his eclipse this way also.

funny thing. my first car was a 92 white shelby turbo daytona. i am a huge mopar and mitsu fan. and yes these cars do haul awesome ass. as far as the fliping thing i have took both my daytona and eclipse on some corners that if they didnt have bucket seats your ass would fly out the window and never once on a dry road with good tires even lost traction. these cars are so low to the ground, and wide, with a very stiff suspencion that i could run over a bubble gum rapper and feel it. but that suspenion the 5 speed stick and turbo is what makes you really have a feel for the road its allmost like you know exactly what your car can handle.

Sorry you flipped your cars but I dont see how? Not saying it didnt happen or cant but I have never even came close and believe me when i say that if the car was going to flip it would of.

yeah thats not what i meant i was talking about if something broke. See with mine the rack n pinan went out on it and i hydroplanned that beast off the road a quarter of a mile off the road into a telaphone pole and i had never had a problem on wet roads before and the esclipse well it was dry and something happened with the front end of it while going around a curve and it rolled 4 times. I dont remember what broke you would have to ask my step dad. I had a 86 daytona turbo 5 speed. then I had a 89 dodge daytona then i had a 87 dodge daytona selby z 5 speed with a rebuilt turbo hubba hubba and of coarse it had the factory cool air thing on it what ever it was that came on those. Hell I didnt get to drive it long it had a problem with axles itself i bought it from a dumbass that lowered a car that was already on the ground who does that? anyways went through 6 axles after it was raised back up and finally said screw it and replaced the whole front end. Then the fuel pump went out got that fixed then nate's cousin blew it up for me going down hill (idiot) the only thing i can guess is he went to pass somebody going down a large hill and put it in the wrong gear. I got to drive that car a whole 4 times it made me sick.

Learned every thing i know about working on cars from my daytona. thats one of the reasons i love the eclipses. Allmost the same. I can work on my eclipse my self. Becouse i had to fix so many things in my daytona. I had to replace my water pump in my daytona to remember how much of the engine you had to take apart just to get to it? It was crazy lol. My daytona took a turn for the worse once I started getting some seriuse turbo lag. never could work on turbos myself. And once you repair a turbo its like repairing a auto trany there never the same agian :( Unless you replace it with a bettr one :)

My 97 Civic coupe drag car. Bone stock d16y8 with ported intake & t/b. On 100 shot runs 7.9's @ 88 mph. Just bought a 2nd nitrous kit and am about to bump it to a 150 shot. Should pick it up a little as long as the stock motor holds together.

Also have another 97 civic coupe & a 98 Suburban 4wd. I drive one or the other everyday. Have a 89 civic hatch i'm putting together right now. Built b18 w/ nitrous. Gonna be a street car/sleeper. Nikki's daily driver is a 02 Mitzu Gallant.

Edited while you were posting!!! Its a bone stock y8 bottom-end and head with a Gude performance ported i/m & t/b. Have a aem cam gear, dc header, homemade intake, 1 gal fuel cell, and a 100 shot on a wet kit. Best times so far are 7.92 @ 88 mph in the 1/8th.

Here's one I sold not long ago. 02 Raptor 660. Exhaust, sprockets, k&n, racing wheels, maxxis raxr 2 tires, nerf bars, front & rear bumpers, renthol handlebars, aluminum skid plate, among a long list of other stuff. This thing would fly!!! I miss it but would probably be dead if I still had it!

Traded a s10 with a built 355 and nitrous for it. S10 ran 7.50's in the 1/8th on slicks.

Thats a real nice set up, i wish i could have modded mine, I had a lot of plans for my si, but it being my only car, it lacked in utility, so i am trading it in for something with more cargo room. :(

Thanks! For how minimal and stock it is it holds strong. The current motor has been in and running for over 3 years now. I paid $50 for it with a spun bearing. Fixed it and its been rocking ever since. I bought a set of Vitara pistons and had a set of factory LS rods machined to fit a sohc. Until this one blows though, i'm not changing a thing! Once the new set-up is in, I'll bump both kits up to a 200-250 shot total. Should be a little faster then.

Few other things about the car. Lexan windows, aluminum truck lid, Smith racing cage, Hondata s200 & i/m gasket, fiberglass hood, Bogart Drag-on Flys wheels w/ M&H slicks, coilovers, skunk2 upper a-arms, KYB AGX struts, Venom fuel rail & FPR, Walborough 255 pump, 2-nos wet kits, and a few other misc. parts i'm sure I missed.

Rock Creek, I see you're from Tn. Do you plan on making the trip over to the Z MAX Dragway in Concord, N.C. next year for Pinks All Out? We'll be there with my first import and both Nova's. I'd love to end up running 4 wide but hopefully at least one of my rides will make the finials.

Would love to come out! I know some people who have raced on Pinks and said it was a blast. I've also always wanted to go to Z MAX. Heard its a good track. Going to Steele, AL this Sunday for a big street car race.

Good looking dsm!

I have a friend here in Chattanooga that has a bone stock 4g63 w/ an FP red that went 7.20's in the 1/8, 11.40's in the 1/4, and put down over 500 to the tires. Now they're building a stroked motor with a John Shepherd auto tranny, and a bigger turbo all going in a 1st gen awd street car. Should be nasty!!!

He's ran a Shepherd tranny for a long time now and just recently decided to try out an auto. He has always been very pleased with it. I've seen John Shepherd race in person several times and all I can say is he's defiently the man with dsm's.

My friend also had a 4-dr awd Gallant with a cyclone motor and a 20g for a while. Was an awesome sleeper car! I'm just very parcial to hondas but my second choice would defiently be a dsm.

I use to have an EF hatch with a high compresion LS Vtec swap. Car def got down and rode out. I walked so many cars with it. Only Honda I will ever own now is an S2000. Down here in Tampa almost every Honda is broken into or stolen. Dont get me wrong they are good cars, but in Tampa they have a bad rep with all the street racing and kids that drive like retards.

Thats exactly why I built a drag car and got out of street racing. To many fools and punk kids out on the street. Plus tickets and losing my license lost its appeal.

I'm putting together a EF hatch right now with a built bottom-end LS. It will be a nitrous car when its all said and done.

A friend of mine has two S2000's for sale right now. $15,000 each if youre interested.

If I didnt buy my house I would have def considered it. A new car will have to wait until next year. I really want an Evo but an S2000 is my second choice. Ive also considered getting a European car
