Those are very dangerous snakes, Paula did the right thing. Sorry for the loss of your dog, its terrible, but one of those things you have no real control over.

Aw geeeez. When it rains it poors huh brother? There's nothing to make someone feel better after losing a good dog. I pray these trials and tribulations that God is puting you and your family through only strengthen your lives. May gods plan reveal itself to you to ease your pain and suffering. May a blanket of soothing peace be laid over you. Amen.

Peace be with you Jack,
Dan

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. She was indeed a beautiful girl. You're sure dealing with a lot right now, but your sons were protected and your wife wasn't bitten. I'm with you on killing the snakes. The water moccosins are clearly too agressive to be left loose around the place.

Wow. And we were just talking about snakes the other day on the phone. Sorry that this happened. Sorry there is nothing I can suggest to keep the snake population down. We have alot of snakes around here but the bad ones usually don't come to the suburbs. They stay n the woods. DO you all have king snakes around there?

aww im sorry for your lose Jack. Losing them is hard they are family We have a problem with snakes around here too. At the old house I had a king snake living inthe shed and he kept the others ran off and they stayed at the pond then my neighbor killed him one day after that we have mocossins and a rattle snake around. the rattle snake was found under the house and the moccisns came up all the time. Now we have a creek by our house but its a good distants from the house so far i havent seen a snake but that doesnt mean I won't. Im glad paula is ok bless her heart im suprised she didnt have a heart attack i probably would have. and as far as the trip to the hospital everything happens for a reason. It might have been a rough time but it saved your sons' lives.
