Well I got 2 new babies tonight..a deep off white with a nice black mask and feet and ears. BUT THE SHOCKER IS THEY GO MEOW..found 4 kittens,2 dead 2 alive covered in ants and fleas.I washed them off with the mt. dew I had(only thing i had) and then rushed home de dewed them..got the flea comb out and OMG they were worse then I ever expected.Fleas and fleas on fleas.Well 4 hours later I got 2 FLUFFY LITTLE SIamese mixed named Belle(prissy daughter named) and Lucky duck(tom boy daughter named).UGH so the idea of a new pit just went to the pits..damn FELINES but they are growing on me.They are now eating and moving one just peed in litter box.Any one have any ideas what else I need to do.I will get shots when they are old enough. They are about a month nowDo I need to worm them and so on? I dont know kitten stuff..HELP.

Aww well I am happy to hear that you where able to save 2 lives..touches my heart to hear that...As far as the deworming I think that there old enough to give them a small dose of it but dont hold me to that... It probably wouldnt hurt to take them in to the vet and that way they can give them a quick check up and test to make sure they dont have leukemia. Thats something cats seem to get fairly easy. I am including a link on it ...take a look at it and it should give you an idea. Hope everything works out for you and your new additions.Good luck

That is awesome of you to save the kitties. Yes they will need their shots and need to spayed neutered. I am not sure exactly what the time line is, i think that is up to the vet to decide.
Here is a good timeline.
http://www.catchannel.com/kittens/health/article_vaccines.aspx
FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis (herpes), calicivirus and panleukopenia). First shot administered at 6-8 weeks of age. Series administered every two-three weeks until 12 weeks of age. Boosters given at 1 year of age, then once every three years.
Rabies virus. First shot administered at 4 months of age. Boosters given every one to three years, depending on type of vaccine and requirements stipulated by local rabies regulations.
Non-Core Vaccines
FeLV (feline leukemia virus). First shot administered at 8 weeks of age. Second in series administered at 11 weeks of age. Boosters given once every one to three years.
Chlamydophila. First shot administered at 8 weeks of age. Second in series administered at 11 weeks of age. Boosters given annually.
FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). First dose given intranasally after 4 months of age. Boosters administered every six months.
Giardia. First shot administered at 8 weeks of age. Second in series administered at 10 to 12 weeks of age. Boosters given annually.
FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). First shot administered at 8 weeks of age. Series administered at 10-11 weeks of age, and 12-13 weeks of age. Boosters given annually.
You wont need all these shots. So contact the vet and see what they recommend. Felv is a must.
