Anderson County is considering a ban or restrictions on “pit bulls.” The push appears to be media driven; the local newspaper editor has been publishing regular editorials calling for a ban.

A new Yahoo Group has formed to keep tabs on the situation. Check out www.noandersoncountykybsl.com.

The county fiscal court is considering putting together a commission to study this issue.

Anderson County, KY Update: BSL possibly dropped

It appears that Anderson County will not be pursuing breed-specific language in the proposed revisions to their dog ordinance.
