View Full Version : So This Is What I Came Home To......
I was only gone for 2 hours and this is what Jonas did.....
He already ate a baby gate and a door frame....
If anyone has any tips on how to confine him please tell me. I can't keep him outside.

Buy a gorilla cage lol? I have no suggestions, but he looks pretty determined, I'm sure someone will be able to help you come up with something.
I hope so...LMAO
He didn't get out but if I would have been gone any longer I'm sure he would have been free by the time I walked through the door....And I can not have that.

Idont trust those wirecrates. I suggest a stainless steal oraluminum crate. Even a varikennel is waaaaaay better than a wire crate.

I preach it all the time aluminum crates! They are pretty expensive, but if you hunt around you can find deals. I got both of mine for $50 off craigslist.

Lol, I have never had that problem, thank god. Nevaeh and Faith both LOVE their wire crates. They are in them on their own any chance they get but they only get locked up in them when we ain't home and at night. Whew, I don't konw what I would do if they decidede they hated their crate. Lol, man I wish you luck, keep us updated on how things go.

i dont do crates Peanut is an escape artist too. when he has to be left alone he has a hallway that he gets left in that has nothing for him to destroy and the doors get closed. So far that has worked here.

He won't learn his lesson, just means you will have to clean the crate AND the dog lol Maybe his crate is a little too big. He should be able to stand up, lay down and turn a tight circle. no more.

you are going to have to get a stronger crate than that. Wire crates work good for your average pit bull but those that are escape artist need a tougher crate. I would try one of the strong strong plastic ones if that doesnt hold your going to have to invest in a metal one and the price goes up the stronger you want the crate. I have one that breaks through a crate every month or so but I dont have the money to invest in a metal one yet so Im bearing with it. If you cant afford a strong plastic crate try building a crate inside of a crate. Use the wire crate as the frame and build a secure set of walls and a good top out of large wood. Not plywood im talking stronger Good Luck
