The creator Dave Wilson, a man surrounded by myths, rumors, and a belief that everything that is right in the dogs is because of him and everything wrong can be placed on the front door of his largest kennel. i wasted an hour in a half listening to that garbage. he didn't exactly say anything new. he repeatedly contradicted himself. i loved it when marty asked him what made the dogs worth that much.....uhh it's the time put into them...lol 7 years in the making? that's time? give me a f*cking break. some dogmen spent their entire life dedicated to producing the ultimate performance dog and never made a T-shirt after their "line" with the exception of Jeep...lol DW was in it for the money from the get go, just like the rest of his followers. i ain't buying it.

Vdubbinya- Ive seen pics of your RE on another site I recall. Yours would have to be one of the few I have seen of the RE bloodline that I would say should have been the standard that they went with. Unfortunately...There are more jacked up looking dogs from that line then anything else.
Dave Wilson is a money making business guru in my opinion.From a marketing view, selling pit bulls is getting tougher and tougher. More people dislike the breed than ever before. Pit bulls always seem to be in the headlines, for something bad.
So, the APBT people all dis-like Mr. Wilson, so #$%& the APBT people, and lets make our own breed, because Elite Edge has some very lofty sales goals for 2007, upwards of 5,000 pups, @3 to 5k starting price, and they are not possible without a new marketing plan.
Lets call the new breed The American Bully. Lets have a nationally televised conference showing how great this new breed is, and how they are different from the mean APBT's. There has never been a fatal attack involving the American Bully. Lets make sure to have lots of children next to the American Bullys on TV.
Now after the conference we will need to lobby the goverment(s) to make sure that the American Bully is not associated with the viscious APBT. So that all BSL does not include the American Bully.

Next year when a person, who does not know much about APBTs, visits the Elite Edge website, they will be floored by the incredible looking dogs. So muscular, so powerful! And a lot of them seem to be in this cool color I have never seen before. Hmm says here the breed was established in the mid 1990's. So it has history. hmm it also says they are not aggressive like pit bulls. ohh I like this more and more!.. $5,000.00 FOR THE PICK OF THE LITTER!! they must be special for that much!! I better call them and reserve mine!.. The person then calls, and the breeder asks some very important questions, like all good Elite Edge breeders do, like, "how will you be paying for this pup? money order or cash?"

A person who has done so much damage to the APBT is not going to change their ways and help. This is a business that could reach 10 million dollars annually with the boost of a new breed, and BSL changes. He $%&# the APBT community and is now pulling out.
I have seen some of these RE,gotti,watchdog,chevy, etc...lines being sold as "APBT" under websites at around $3000.00 one month...and then discounted down to $1000.00 a month later. We're talking about living creatures, not expired dairy products.
Anyhow...You have a great looking dog. One of the few RE dogs I will say that I like.

Uh, why all the hate Xavier, do want a bully THAT much. I know I talk alot of crap about people who drive Gallardos, mostly cause I want one, it's calle being a hater.
Now I'm trying to figure out what your last post even meant. You seem to have conflicting views, looked like you were noting that people are disassociating bullies from apbts, but then you turn and say that Dave Wilson has done damage to the breed.... What's the damage? If anything, the forthcoming of the bully has revamped the passion for the APBT. Yeah, there has been some paper hanging, but tell me what bully breed doesn't have any hung lineage. I'm amazed by the fact that so many people call BSL on pits "racism" and then they turn around and hate on another breed of dog. I myself have the privelage of owning both styles of dog, both of them turn heads, both of them are amazing. As for your comment about the price, do you think that the bully is the only breed of dog priced that high, really? It's called supply and demand homie. That comment about how there are bully price reductions didn't sit well with me, cause I see it happen in every breed! BTW, not sure if you already know my dogs and myself, but performance wise, my bully is an outstanding athelete and can actually run circles around a fair amount of APBTs. Truthfully, if this whole hate thing is about bullies being registered as APBT you should look into how many people are hating on you... Alot of people agree that a PET BULL doesn't deserve to bare the name APBT. Anyway, hate on, my bro.... It won't be much longer before all your wining and sniveling behind your keyboard will pay off, thanks to the ABKC, which, btw, doesn't discriminate against APBTs.
