We had to put stewie down yesterday, He was one of our cats, even though not one of the dogs, he was a well loved member of our family and was a great little boy.
Stewie came down with Caliki(sp?) and stopped eating after becoming very ill, and after 2 weeks of trying everything a vet could do to get him to eat he still wouldnt, so it was either do right by him and let him go or put him under anastesia and put in a feeding tube for God knows how long.
So we made the decision to stop his suffering.
He left us so early at only 4 years old and it breaks my heart, he was well loved and lived a great 4 years!
