A puppy raffle? Who raffles a puppy that any ol person can take care of(or not take care of) so much for being selective.

Kennels usually donate the pup. The last puppy was a heavy heavy bred blackjack dog, something I wouldn't have minded on my yard. They do a puppy raffle every once in a while. I suppose the theory is since you are at a DOG show with DOG people buying the tickets whoever wins the raffle will know how to take care of a dog. and the raffle tickets for the puppy raffle are usually pretty pricey.

Very interesting would love to go but the drive is what always gets me have fun to those that go and take lots of pics!

This is a Boudreaux Benefit Event.

Mr. Richard Stratton will be judging on Saturday
and
Mr. Floyd Boudreaux will present the "Top Dog" Award* on Sunday.

So what do you guy's think my chances of getting them both to sign a MPBP shirt will be?

I hope Thunder does well in weightpulling.. except for the fun show last Saturday, he hasn't pulled in about 5 months!

...a few days away! I have to get him in shape!

Hey I got that book TOO!! Won it at a raffle like 2 yrs ago at a Kellyville OK show. I like it.

Ill be there for sure taking pics on sunday.. Dont worry about the puppy they are giving away people. I promise its going to a good home " MINE ".. LOL , Ive been having these dreams that i won a puppy at a event on Sunday so it mite be coming home with me...














































TRYING TO BE POSITIVE ABOUT IT.. LOL Ill be driving up there from BRadenton early eeeeeearly Sunday Morning... :D

Thunder didn't do well at all. The track wasn't what we were use to, and the main factor is, we haven't trained in about 5 months.. did some quick training this past week.. anyway, I had fun.

I was only there on Saturday. Today I am going to the Melbourne Art Festival.

I have pictures of Mr Stratton and myself, got him to sign my book. Also got pics of Mr. Boudreaux and myself, he signed my book too!:smiles:

Well I got them Plus Jack kelly's :D It was a great time with amazing ppl. Awesome meeting some of you there.

I did get my book signed by both "Boudreaux" and "Stratton".

I was there Saturday only. I was in the large air conditioned building, where they were having the weight pull. I walked around a few times. My car was the brown KIA, across from where the registration and food was.

Sorry I missed ya! It is easier when you know what people look like.
I'll have to study the 'faces behind the keyboard' post before next show!:smiles:

I had an awesome time. I saw some great looking dogs there!!

I am going to the event in Tallahassee (sp).. anyone going?

Here is Thunder acting stupid at first, then he pulled.. I don't know what was up with him that day.

Hey, it was great seeing you guys there!!! I will post my pics soon, just have to get them downloaded onto my computer....work is killing me!!! Thanks, Nate for letting me borrow your batteries!!! I got some great shots of Brian too.

Hypercane, I wanted to see your dog pull, but by the time I got over to the building the competition was over....the track was a tough one, but I have no doubt he did well, though, if he pulled anything like he did at Mid Florida...it was great seeing you too!!!

All in all, we had a great time at the show.:)
