I liked Nathan Pilgram judging but he did take a really really long time lol. So it really doesnt matter to me.

We plan to be there if everythign works out like its suppose to. Going to start getting the dogs ready as soon as it gets above freezing again lol

IMHO, if I were your club's show coordinator these would be my first choice's...

#2. Lee & Mary lou Craig
#3. Amy Greenwood Buford & Brad Bullock
#4. Mike Ellis & Nathan Pilgram

There are a lot of very good Judges out there and no disrespect intended to those not mentioned. These are just a few of my personal favorites due to the fact that they actually Judge YOUR DOG and leave friendship & politics' outside of the show ring where it belongs!

James, has Heather confirmed with you or the clubs show coordinator exactly who your conformation judges are yet or do you even have a provisional request in to the ADBA as to you want? Just asking because I REALLY would like to attend BUT, in the end it'll all boil down to who the judges are.

yes, we did but all judges requested and some you listed are judging other shows or cant judge until they do the requirements the ADBA has put on them.
right now the only judge we got approved for is Abel Santillian, hope to hear something today on the other judge.

Just haven't figured out how im going to be at two places at once with Diamond being on the track :rolleyes: She's such a pain in my ass. Not to mention Houdini. I might have to borrow some little girls ;)

income taxes are done and they look really good :) We will be there as long as nothing stupid happens. Now if only the weather would corporate :sigh: So far it looks like we are bringing 5 maybe 6 if Chester is better. Houdini hasn't had any time my son refuses to take time to work his dog. I know he has sports and stuff but no excuse. I tell him that if daddy can go to work all day, come home do abunch of stuff, go to his games, and still has time to work dogs than he can too. buttt nope hes being lazy.

From someone whose been there and done that, good luck & God bless! I hope you have a terrific turn out in conformation & weight pull and have a wonderful time putting on the show. Unfortunately due to health issues my wife and I won’t be able to attend. We’ve also actually decided to retire all together from showing. We just aren’t physically able to anymore. Best of luck to everyone showing. Drive safely. Win or loose remember, your supporting the club and putting on a positive image of the breed to the public.

probably only going to make it up one day this weekend ourselves and dont know which day its going to be. Got every female on my yard in heat except Tai and with some of my escape artist probably not best to stay the night away from home. Nate has also been working 7 12's for the last two weeks dont know if he can take the whole weekend off.

We are busting a** trying to make it this weekend. If the stars will align for us we will be there with some unworked dogs. We are both working 24/7 right now and the weather has sucked.

believe me i wish i was working, on the internet looking and applying for jobs daily, i either dont have enough experience, over qualified, or no experience at all.

its not lazy wanting to work , i would rather be working, lazy with the dogs and i dont work my dogs seven days a week, maybe 7 days in a month, not working them and then not have money to go to shows, if i see i have a few extra dollars, i might work couple times b4 the show that it. back in january i did work them for 4 weeks straight, 3 -4 times a week, if you work your dog 7 days a week for wp you are burning them out, anyways i thought i was getting a job, my old company called me back and then said the job didnt go through.

so keep working hard, not mad at anybody having a job, got to do what you can while you can. so chill!!!

anyways back to the subject of the show. just reminding everybody we will be serving breakfast both days at the show. will be serving lunch, dinner what ever you want to call bbq, hamburgers, potato salad, beans and other stuff i cant remember to much.
