How did you come up with your dog/dogs names?

We got our dogs name from the Adult Swim show "Family Guy". It just stuck with him and we like it!

Being a history nut, i wanted to name my dog something historical, but simple. Most of the simple ones were already common, but i wanted something unique. So I picked Czar, since i was playing a historical game as Russia lol.

Casey came with her name "Campbell's Crazed Casey"

Getme, we got a call from a good friend in Texas asking if we wanted him when he was about 4 mos. old, we said yes and he said "well, come get him", so Getme, registered name "Tightline's Lucky Number 7"

Nacho, his daddy is named OFK's Flip The Switch, so I named my pup OFK's Up A Notch, aka Nacho

Boo, she came with a registered name already, "Kincannon's Nightmare" so we just called her Boo

Nia and Tau, we wanted to name them something in an African dialect, since they are Africa pups, so Nia means courage and Tau means lion

Tutu, her sire's name is Bang Bang and his sire's name is Bam Bam, so I wanted to kinda continue along those lines but I wanted something really girlie. Her dam's name is Princess Sajett, so her name is Falin's Princess Tutu.

The pups out of Africa and Boudreaux' Bad Assssss, we will be keeping a male and a female. I am going to name one of the PullDawg's Oh So Bad and call name Ohso but I haven't come up with a second name yet. lol Thinking about Ready but not sure yet.

and the Fila, Mabel...I just liked the name LOL. She has a big long fancy name that has to do with her breeding but I just like Mabel

in mexico, if you see someone overweight, a nickname their buddies might call them is "GORDO"

so if someone looks like they might be asian.. theyd get called "chino" or el "chino"

funny thing to me is that my puppy looked chinese to me.. squinty eyes, etc. So it stuck.

Well I was looking for a new best friend and I knew in my heart I wanted an APBT. Well I just happened to be browsing on craigslist and seen "FREE UKC registered Blue APBT female puppy" so I read it and it turned out she was an accident litter and she had to be on a spay contract. Well I was sure I was too late so I left email after email after email talking about who I was, about my family and my background with pitbulls and that she didn't have to even give the papers over till the pup was spayed. Lol, I didn't hear back for a while but then finally I got an email saying that I sounded perfect for her. I thought an angel out of heaven was helping me so that is where I came up with "Nevaeh" it is Heaven spelled backwards. She is my little piece of Heaven!! (Oh and Nay Nay totally changed colors on me and went to blue fawn but she is absolutely gorgeous!

After having Nevaeh, Iell so in love that I told Holly if she ever did breed intentionally that I wanted another puppy female. Well turns out she was breeding her DuMae with Nevaeh's sire Stack! She said I had the 3rd pick and she wouldn't charge me full price if I did her on a spay contract so I agreed. Well once the litter was born there were 3 girls and 3 boys, I just knew instantly which girl I wanted but I still had to wait for Holly's pick and another guy to pick. Well the guy delayed and delayed, Holly told me that if he were to pick she was thinking he was wanting my girl just from pictures that he had seen. I was soo soo sad and devastated, well 7 weeks roll by and the guy finally said he wasn't gonna make a pick this time. Oh my Gosh I was so so happy and I felt like Faith was on my side so that is where the name "Faith" came from, lol!! It was also awesome that it happened to be Nevaeh's half sister! Also after a few weeks Holly told me that I didn't have to spay Faith if I wanted to try and show her, she said we could car pool and stuff to shows. You don't even know how ecstatic I was to hear that news also.

Soooo sorry for the long story, lol, but those are just how I came across the names for my 2 beautiful girls!! :)

lets see Alexis got her name from a APBT my aunt had to have put down cause she tore down an electric fence while it was on going after the neighbors but that dog loved me and I wanted to keep her so bad but my mom said no so the first dog I got that was mine I named her Alexis after that dog.


Havoc got her name cause she's a pain in the ass from the time she came home lol her call name is badds cause she was bad as a pup she's perfect now!!


Chaos well cause she's inbred and her name just fits her so perfect!

Well Spider got his name becasue he was bit by a spider when he was a pup and to keep all the pups stright he got called "spiderbite" and so it just stuck his reg. name Pulldawgs Sgt. Cooper is in honor of Martins cusin who got killed in Iraq last year.
Dozer came with is name but its a great name for him :)
All of my heelers where named after rodeo towns....Cheyenne, Reno, Austin ect.

ok Smith's Deigo was named after the tiger on Ice Age my son named him.

Yolanda's full name is Yolanda Ann Smith. I treated her like she was a human child when she was born so she took our last name. I gave her my middle name cause I said she would be the daughter I never had. Yolanda was a good friend of mine in high school she was one of those people that is really quite and layed back until you piss her off and then watch out. Well out of her litter that is just how she was. She kept to her self away from the others in the litter and if one tried to play ruff with her it was on lol. Her pet name is Yo Yo which was my friends nick name as well

Dixie's full name is Smith's Heart of Dixie. Nate and I fought over naming this dog for several weeks after we got her. Well I have a shirt that saids Spirit of dixie on it that has a black and white pitbull puppy that looks alot like dixie and we live in Alabama so we named her heart of dixie and call her dixie. After a few months of her I said she was a major boo boo so her pet name is boo boo.

Bango came with his name it was Falin's Bango Skank I felt so sorry for him and I havent came up with a pet name for him yet but we call him Bango

Diamond's full name is Dennis/Falin's Blu Diamond I picked her name cause when I saw her I knew she was a Diamond in the rafth and that she would be one of those 1 in a life time pups. Blu cause she is blue. So far she is standing up to the name she was given acting just like her auntie Blu from Dennispits.

Chester came with his name Cecelia's Chester Houdini came with his name Cecelia's Houdini his pet name is Hou Hou. Tai came with her name as well Chocolate Tai we call her Tai Tai.

Remi came with the name Pulldawgs High Caliber Remmington but it wouldnt fit on those little spaces on her papers so we renamed her Pulldawgs Remmington AR15. We call her Remi

Penny got hers because of the brindle "P" marking on her left flank, lol.

Orion got his name because of the 3 white spots that are on his neck, top knot of head and the blaze that runs down his nose, looks like Orion's belt, lol. Plus he had 3 owners before he came back to us.
