So I had the day off and I took the boys in to the vet for different reasons, Penny rode along with us, as I was going to get her Potassium Bromide refilled. Anywayz, I got there, my vet is 45 minutes away from my house but sooooooo worth the drive. I took Penny out, we go in and I weigh her, OMG GUESS HOW MUCH SHE WEIGHED??? GUESS?????? 71lbs 9oz., that is the slimmest she ahs been since she was about 7 months old, i can't believe it. I think we are gonna stop at 68 or 70lbs and get some more exersice time in, and on Sat we will be 4 weeks seizure free.
So I took her back to the car, put her in (car is running with the air conditioner on, lol) took Orion out and took him in and weighed him, he's 78.8lbs and we waited our turn, Doc calls us back and we discuss that the white boy is gonna have to have surgery on his right back knee for that luxuating patella he has, sooo not looking forward to that, he gave me some anit-inflamatory/pain pilss and a card to one of the best ortho surgens here in Austin, I am a bit worried about this surgery and the healing process afterwards. Poor white boy, Doc says he isn't really in pain but if he keeps on the way he is, it'll have to be amputated and I don't want that. So surgery it is. Took him back to the car and bring in Phoneix.
I took Phoenix because he had this weird growth thing on his mouth where the corner of his mouth is, Doc looks at it and says its a "Skin tag", I have never heard of these, can someone tell me what they are? Said to leave it alone, nothing serious. And he weighed in at 80.2lbs. Fat boy, been so busy our workouts aren't as regular.
Sorry for the novel just thought I'd tell what was going on, lol.
