district 9 Was IMHO a kick ass movie I just got done watching it and I loved it. So I figured I'd share my experience with the movie. Some ppl didn't like it but I did.

The prawns weren't corny, just not what I look for in an sci fi. I need more explosions, more back ground on these aliens. It was barely sci fi! If they weren't aliens in the movies and they were say.... A different race of people. It'd be a love story damn near!

Nah it had explosions. What about the robot armor is was cool. And the first alien weapon he fired was cool, the one that looked like a jet engine. I was on the edge of my seat half of the movie.

Dude there was MAYBE 20 minutes of robots n explosions n guns, the LAST 20 minutes!

Now that's an Idea. Did you go to the movies to watch it? The version I watched They didnt subtitle what the aliens were saying at all. I just had to guess at WTF they were talking about.

Ah saw it in theatres. Aliens dint got much to say honestly. They are kinda stupid, except that one dude. Just think of a typical
show of cops dialogue n that's pretty much it. Damn cat food junkies.

i loved this movie personally, for those that grew up in the 80's we know all about "B" movies and this by far was the greatest "B" movie ive ever seen.
i went with no expectations and i knew no one in the cast so i didnt think much of it but wow! i liked it!
i bet if some of those aliens were weightpullers Dan would have been all over it! lol

I will agree with the statement " it was the best B movie of all time". I just feel B movies should have a good amount of female nudity. There was none, very upsetting.

i have the movie and havent watched it yet because i was told it sucked. lol maybe ill give it a shot.

It was a good, bordering on great movie, it would have been great if it wasn't for the cheesy ending.

Who doesn't expect sequels now day's. Prolly shooting for a trilogy.
