LOL phffft you know me. I get a little crazy with the cam at these things. But i got a sony handy cam, a pocket full of DVD's to record video to and a 8 gig memory stick in that thing for pics. Who ever is not holding the dog will be taking pics lol.

Now I emailed them and asked why the flier has bully in all the events. And asked if they did in fact know the difference.

Here is the response I got from the email

Oh, yes, we absolutely know the difference! LOL. And, yes, this event is geared for both. There are some fun events geared toward the AB such as bully puppy, bully male and female and best blue, but the rest will be judged according to ADBA standard for the American Pit Bull Terrier.. We just try to offer something for everyone. Our foundation lies in the ADBA American Pit Bull Terrier!! Those are the dogs we love and promote. There will be alot of all kinds of pit bulls at the Fairgrounds that day as there will also be a UKC point show and weight pull...and plenty of rescue groups ect.



Hope you come on out and join us! It should be alot of fun!!!

just a heads up... its not being held at the fairgrounds. they relocated!


As many of you may already be aware the Pit Bull Awareness Day is relocating to the Veteran's Memorial Park (3602 N US Highway 301, Tampa, FL 33619) for Saturday and Sunday (8am - 5pm). Carla ran into some glitches and had some last minute cancelations but we still can all pull together for a festive event. UKC relocating their sanctioned point show and weight pull to the park as well. Costume, both canine and kids, are still a go! We have AKC CGC testing on Sunday (no pre-registration required), ADBA fun show and fun classes both days, Agility and Rally demos on Saturday, and a Flyball demo on Sunday.

Keep you calendars marked...it's a go just a new location!! See you then.

The group that was doing the TD testing, had a family emergency and will be unable to attend. We are still working on securing another organization, but nothing is certain at this time.
There is no fee to attend the event.
You can register for the fun events and fun weight pull the day of the event.
