We all hoping for the best..just sucks that we don't know what happen. If he let us know what's up maybe we could help mavrick in some way, donations, vet help, and maybe someone has knowledge.I know we all know different people, different forms of care and so on.If it's something that we can't help with we can at least give support and maybe knowing what up will help us know what to say.But I get if he wants to keep it personal.I guess he may feel that he done something or could have done something better and beating himself up But none the less Dan we are praying for you and your dog.

Glad to hear that he's alright. Emergency vets are no fun especially their fees, but Lord what would we do in circumstances like this without them? I'll continue to keep you and Mav. in my prayers.

He has tramadol actually, he's a fuckin sport though. Too much pain killers may make him think he's not hurt. He needs to remember he's injured.

Just wondering if you got my e-mail bro? Man I'm so glad to hear that Maverick's still getting better. I'm gonna move some boxes this weekend up to the new place so I should find the plastic tub with the hides (they're labeled & vacuum sealed). If you want some, just let me know. Oh BTW, ..... NO MORE DANG RUBBER OR PLASTIC CHEW TOYS FOR MAV OR GRIZ! lol (but seriously no more store bought toys, PLEASE). Go to a Thrift Store, Goodwill or Flea Market and buy you a few used bowling balls. Then, take them to a bowling alley and have the holes filled. Then, Vuala !!! Instant chew proof APBT toy's that they'll have hours and hours and hours a day with. I usually pay around $5 bucks for the used balls and about $3 to $6 bucks per ball to get the holes filled. I'd send you an extra one free that I have here just for you to try out and see if you and the dogs liked it but, OMG I can only imagine how much $ the shipping charge on the weight would be on a bowling ball from SC to Cali. Anyways let me know if you got the e-mail bro!

Yes I have him on crate rest til Friday. Most of the time it's just mat rest on a leash though. They have him on the canned low fat food that's really bland for his bowels.... I hate it cuz I'm a nut about their nutrition and he hates it too :(

ps: I'm starting him on mushed up normal food tonight. YAY!!!!

Maverick got his staples out today and is E Collar free(he hates that damn cone!!) he's sleeping nowcuz it's too hot for his air conditioned wanting ass lol. He's a tad skinny from thevland food he was on and his intestines inability to absorb nutrients due to the blockage scraping the little hairs off the lining. They will grow back of course. (bacilia? Idk...) He is happy and healthy and has a scar just like dads we are an ugly pair :D good thing grizz is here to make us look good ;) so I would like to really thank everyone who pulled, prayed, though and encouraged maverick to his recovery. Good vibes were very welcomed and extremely appreciated. He will begin his hand walks tonight and we will se how long he goes, his walks will become longer so his recovery will be ss fast as possible without straining him doing anything to hardcore. I think I will quit the spring and flirt all together out of feat of turning his stomach(any thoughts?). He will be stepped up every 2 months into a different level of excercise til he can pull his heart out again. I remember after my surgery it hurt too much to walk for a week. After that a few hundred feet was like a marathon. Maverick is light on his feet and very upbeat to be back in his yard. I think his recovery will be quick but I'm going to play it safe anyways....

Yah hes back to his old self alright! I saw him going into grizzs crate to sniff so i say "heeeey maverick is that YOUR crate?" and he gets al excited that i caught him doing something bad.... So he start doing his burn rubber scoobie doo impression on the hard wood floor... does this super leap and clears me, my head, and the arm chair.... flies clears over me and lands on the floor behind me crashing into the kitchen table and the chairs the scrambles up and comes back over for a scratch and a hug and some rubs.... i checked his scar and its ok.... this damn dog, its a wonder he is still alive LOL
